History of the Arabs

According to Facebookers who admitted student at the University of Indonesia (UI), the term "Allah" is a new name that was introduced by the Prophet Muhammad. In other words, the name is not known before the presence of the Prophet Muhammad.Of course, the assumption is wrong student. Because history proves that long before the prophet Muhammad was born Arabs have known Batul name of "Allah." They wear and include your name in the oath, sya'ir-sya'ir Arabic literature and the names of their children. Inclusion in the name for example: "Abdullah" which means servant of God. Among those who have this name is the father of Prophet Muhammad himself. Certainly no historian who denied this.Uniquely this name was not only owned by the Quraysh of Mecca, but also by the Arab Jews, like Abdullah bin Ubay bin Abdullah bin Salam Salul and. So it may be said that "Allah" as a name for God is not only known in the Arab culture pre Quraysh of Mecca Muhammad Ummah but also Jews, Christians and even Arab ummah. Then what is the difference between "God" with the gods worshiped other Arabs, such as Lata, Uzza, and other Manata? The answer: for they are God Almighty Allah absolute, creator and ruler of the universe. While the false gods they worship (according to their beliefs) is an intermediary to God.This is as described in the Qur'an:ولئن سألتهم من خلق السماوات والأرض وسخر الشمس والقمر ليقولن الله فأنى يؤفكون"And if thou ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon? They will certainly say, Allah, the betapakah they are deluded. "(Surat al-'Ankabut: 61)والذين اتخذوا من دونه أولياء ما نعبدهم إلا ليقربونا إلى الله زلفىIt means "And those who take protectors other than Allah (say): 'We do not worship them but that they draw near to God with us as close" (Surah Az Zumar: 3)Well, the pagan tradition was later destroyed by the prophet Muhammad. He calls mankind to communicate and interact directly to God the creator and sustainer of this universe, namely God, without intermediaries and wasilah adalagi, especially idols defend itself alone is not capable of. Allaah knows best.
